7 reasons to go Hiking

This is an article written for those who are starting to feel the emotion for this beautiful sport and lifestyle. We all know some basic reasons that it is not worth remembering, but surely there will be others that you do not know, so, we started!

1. MAKING SPORT IS ALWAYS A BENEFIT

As everyone knows, doing sports is always good because you burn fats, gain form and is beneficial to the cardiovascular system, if walking is good, trekking, although it is another way to walk, it is much better than a walk to use.

2. BE IN CONTACT WITH NATURE

If you love nature, do not doubt that hiking is the perfect activity for you. You will be amazed by the natural life that can be very close to your town or city (if you have mountains near clear). You will see leafy vegetation that will make you forget for a moment the bustle and the gray cement of the city, you will breathe pure air without the pollution of the industries and the exhaust pipes, if you give enough attention surely you listen to the joyful song of a bird and, hopefully, you may see some animals in the area.

3. DISCOVER NEW CORNERS

Each route, each mountain and each path are different worlds. Discover the wonderful corners away from the view of most, that clear in the middle of the forest, that lonely rock that you will not hesitate to upload to take a photo. That little pond with crystalline waters that with some luck has fish. With each new excursion you will discover beautiful landscapes. Even repeating route, you will notice things that you had not seen or explore new corners and roads that will take you to new and wonderful sites.

4. IT IS A NON-COMPETITIVE ACTIVITY

Apart from being a sport with all the benefits that it implies, there is no competition in here, rather than the opposite, a lot of fellowship. The one who is less fit or has shorter legs will make a little effort not to stay behind, and the more flippant and impetuous will tie the horses a little so that no one is left behind. Hiking is a great way to have a good time with friends and / or family, talk relaxed and bond with our loved ones.

5. PRACTICING HIKING YOU WILL MAKE NEW FRIENDSHIPS

As I said before, practicing trekking you will strengthen relationships with your own people. But not only that, you also have the possibility of making new relationships with other hikers who cross you during your journey or who agree with them on the rest or breaks that you do along the way. If you are an extroverted person no doubt in many occasions in which you practice trekking to make new friends with other lovers of nature like you, take advantage to know your favorite routes and point them to travel them in the future.

6. IT'S CHEAP

Maybe if you start hiking and do not have the necessary clothing and accessories, the initial investment can be high, especially if you start in winter and cold. But once the initial investment is made, perhaps the biggest expense you'll make is the gasoline to go to the starting point of the excursion you want to do since if you buy clothes and shoes made specifically for outdoor sports, they are very durable material.

7. THE MERECED PRIZE ON THE GOAL

The last of the seven reasons to practice trekking, but not least, that well deserved and expected lunch at the top or the highest point of our route. That sandwich, those potatoes or other snacks. For me without a doubt the best moment of those mornings in which sometimes when you get up even the sun is not totally out. A well-deserved reward for the job well done and a filling of the deposit to face the descent that in many cases is as hard as the climb. Also, if you curry a good snack you will be the envy of your friends!
